Can I put a coloured Kleenex box in my hamster cage? Will it get sick? Im trying to make a sleeping place.?

I have this kleenex box that im planning to put in my hamster cage, since i heared that if you do it would make a tiny sleeping place of itself, putting bedding and then sleeping. My kleenex box has a colourful design on the outside like most do (pink colour) anyways could i put it in my cage and say my hamster eats a part will it get sick? If so where could i find types that wont make them sick?

1. yes you can as long as it doesn't have Kleenex in it . he will love to chew it but wont eat it. you can also try empty toilet rolls or empty paper towel rolls too. i have had a lot or mice and rats and they loved it. it kept them from getting board
2. i dont advise it... but you can get little scraps for bedding at any pet store and that is the best choice for your little hamster. you don't want to take the risk since their bodies aren't big, and if they were to eat the wrong thing it could potentially hurt them.
3. Give it the inside of paper towel rolls or toilet paper rolls and plain white paper towels.It will build it's own nest using bedding and bits of chewed paper
4. i dont think it will make it sick as many people have bin doin this for years they usuall tend to shred them up bit by bit to make some bedding also its cheap to keep his habit haha, but if u are worried then u can go to a pet store and get a nest box for small animals they work just as good!
5. No it wont. They like things like that to play in, sleep in, or chew apart. I have had many many hamsters and I put in pop tart boxes, kleenex boxes, toilet paper and paper towel rolls in their cages. They have so much fun with them and they love to chew them up. Your hamster will be fine. She will eat it eventually or just chew it up to make more bedding material. It is fine for her dont worry. Have fun with your little girl!

7. es i use tissue boxes and they've never done any of my mice, hamsters or rats any harm
