How do I remove a bolted hamster wheel from its cage?

Hi all, I recently bought a new hamster cage that already had the exercise wheel attached to it. I need to move it but trouble is it's bolted to the cage! I've tried unscrewing it but it doesn't work; it just spins around. Has anyone had one of these annoying wheels before and managed to remove it? It's a modern smooth wheel, looks a bit like a crappy U.F.O. Thanks!

2. you probably have to hold the nut, which is on the other side of the bolt to remove it
