Cages and toys for ferrets---HELP?

Well, I got a ferret 2 days ago from a friend and I already need help. lol. Anyways, I couldn't afford to go out and buy one of thos $200 cages so I am building one out of cooling racks (brand new of course). Anyways, I am trying to determine how big it should be and what to put in it. Also, what kind of toys could I make/buy for her to entertain herself? Any and all answers will be accepted. 1. it should be big enough to fit the food bowl and water and also a box for her to hid it one of the best toys for a ferret is a cat ball with a bell inside it my ferret has hours of fun playin with it he even plays catch with me! a paper bag is also an awesome toy just poke holes in it. Hope i helped
