  1. if its a cage and not a crate then ya should be fine just make sure theres no holes that will hurt the kitten or that they will get stuck in.. but rember she may not even nest there.. also dont close the door.. give her lots of food and whatever she wants just as u would if ur friend or sister was prego.. make sure that were she is nesting is dark, warm and only u or whoever she loves the most is there..make sure u have all the supplys to help u out look on google or anouther site.. also make sure u have everything for raseing the babies alone if she chossie that she doesent want to be a momma or isent ready for it.hope this helps.. good luck
  2. I don't see whats wrong about using a dog cage for a pregnant cat, I think it is a good idea because I did the same thing for my pet.
  3. yea, well her are the pros- she has a larger space for the kittens to play in, she doesn't feel cramped in one area, you can open the cage to let her walk around. well here are the cons- hole in the cage, for things to get in and little adventurous kittens to get out of. If i were you a would use a decent size cardboard box and cut a hole on one side of the box leave about 3 inches from the bottom so the kittens when they are little cannot get out of the box, but when they are old enough they can adventor out into this new world of theirs! well hope that helps!
