How do i build a cage for my parakeet? And what is safe to use?

i am trying to build a cage for my two parakeets and i dont know how or what to use.

HOW, go to the petshop, USE money to buy a cage.
why not buy one thats premade. not a small one but one the size for a cockatiel
that sucks
use wood and glass drill holes in the wood and make it a rectangle.
