How can i get my dog to stop barking so much when hes in his cage?

When we put my dog in his cage when guests come over, he will bark and bark and bark the whooleeee time until we let him out. Is there any way i can get him to stop?

1. Dont put him in a cage, just shut him in a room that he's used to. surely your guests wont be every room in your house. OR Keep the cage where your dog can see you, so he knows your still there. hope that helped x
2. He's barking because he's unbearably frustrated being locked away when he knows there's people there and he wants to visit. Maybe you need to think about fixing the problem of his misbehaving around company so he doesn't have to be locked away.
3. Why would you lock him in his crate when people come over? It's his home too not the people that are visiting. I would NEVER, EVER lock my dogs in a crate just because people come over. Like I said it's their home too.
