Want to use my friends hamster cage but three have died in it?

I want to use my friends hamster cage but three different hamsters at three diffrent times have died in it. Should i get a new cage or use his. All of them have died from wet tail. look people, its my frrend's cage, not mine so dont say its mine couse its not.

1. Hi, This cage is perfectly fine. Just make sure you thoroughly wash it out. Including tubes and platforms. With disinfectant. Then it is perfectly okay for a new hamster! Good Luck with your new addition! Lucii
2. haha same thing here. i had a hamster cage and 3 of my hamsters just died out of nowhere in there, but i dont have it anymore. hamsters have to die somewhere right? so im sure u could still use the cage. just clean it out.
3. Sure you can. Just make sure you clean it out really good before putting your new hammy in it.
