How to remover spray paint from my bird cage?

I spray painted a bird cage but it wasn't a good idea because the spray paint was extremely toxic. I wanna know a good and easy way to remove spray paint from my bird cage?

1. sand blast it or use paint thinner then let it sit out for a while so the bird doesn't come into contact with the fume
2. Yes, sand blast or glass bead it off. Paint stripper will work but will not be easy, and it may still be toxic. It may be easier to just buy a new cage. Good Luck
3. I'm just curious as to what kind of paint you used. If it was Rustoleum then it should be okay. You just have to let it dry really good. I would say around a week before putting the birds in it. If not then your best bet is to go buy another cage. You should never paint a bird cage yourself.
