What cage should I buy for my Love Birds?
I've had my lovebird for a while now and I want to buy another one. Should I buy a bigger cage so both of them can share it? But would they fight?! Or should I buy another small cage so they each have there own cage? HELP!

- Just calm down. Lovebirds are love-birds. The love eachother. Keep them in the cage you have. But BUY THE SAME BREED. Unless you want a fight. If they start fighting, buy another cage. Keep them seperate until you trust them to get along.
- Calm down love birds can be together they would not fight you could buy a bigger cage you would need one if you wanted too put them together try petco or if you want them both too never fight get another small cage
- It's up to you. Either get a bigger cage for the two or buy another one...but make sure they are the same breed. BUT keep in mind, the one you have might get mean because a new bird is in her cage or love that she has a new friend. At the end of the day it's up to you just make sure they have a big enought cage either way. Here is a list of cage sizes. http://parrotcentral.net/housing_a_bird.htm good luck!
- First off you have to ask yourself this, "Why do you want another bird?" If you want another bird to keep your bird entertained then that is a wrong reason for adding another bird to your family. Lovebird is a misrepresentation, they are, in fact, very territorial birds and will protect their cage from an unwanted intruder, even if it is the same species and the opposite sex. Birds should always be introduced to one another slowly, before adding another to the same cage, and this should only be done in the case of introducing breeding pairs. In addition, two birds in the same cage will bond to one another, if they don't harm or kill each other, and you may become the outsider and they will want nothing to do with you. So if you want another bird as a companion for yourself then go for it but get the new bird it's own cage.
