What should I place inside my iguana's cage for her to climb?
She's still young and Ive already made a huge cage (almost done) it's 7ft tall 5.5 feet wide and 5.5 feet long now for such a huge cage what will I put for her to climb? And also what if she climbs the top, and then she practices this habit of climbing by the screen, but what if she becomes too big but still climbs on she might injure herself, can this happen?

- I would place huge branches. Also you can put little ramps that go from level to level. I would have different platforms for it to rest on as well and then branches going to each one. they will probably climb on the side of the cage as well. They like leaves and coverings as well. I hope I helped in some way! Also make sure that they have a heat lamp on. Sounds like its going to be a great cage!
- go look for some drift wood or you could make some fake branch if you know how
- A live ficus or hibiscus bush is good. The leaves and flowers are edible.
- hi there there is 2 ways to go with this get a large branch from the beach drift wood not bark ...sun dried ... wash it good and sun dry it agian ... or build ramps and platforms in the enclosure .. staple indoor out door carpet for grip ... on the ranps and platforms....we prefer the large tree branch..more natural ... hope this helps....
- Drift wood,, it's best to sit it at a 90 * angle. They like to lay across the wood,,, make it stable sitting about 1/2 the tanks hieght, they like to stay off the bottom of tank,, plus by placing drift wod in its enclosure,, it will keep them off the walls,, if caged,, they lose fingers and nails from climbing the wire walls...
- when you get drift make sure it is not pine or ceader they are toxic to herps . I would try to find an oak tree or some other type of hard wood and get some branches from those (you can tell if it is hard wood buy pressing your thumb nail into the bare wood , if it leaves an indent don't use it)pluse you can find better size's and i think this type safer.oh if it leaks sap out of it after awhile throw it out sap is no good. the only sure way to make drift wood safe (in my opinion) is to bake it. I don't think you wanna bake 5ft peice if drift wood.
- A tree limb would be good. Staple some artifical leaves of various on it so they can hide.
