What is the best type of cage for cage matches?
As you probably know, CM Punk will face Chris Jericho for the world title in next weeks cage match. There have been many different cages in wrestling history. Do you prefer the modern cage? Do you wish they'd go back to the blue barred cage? Which cage to you prefer?

- I like the blue barred cage better!
- I like the Hell in the Cell and the Barbed- Wire SteelCage
- The new cage is way better, but the blue barred is classic.
- In the Golden Era(80s) the kids are really targeted and when the steel cage was turned into the modern version it really is more violent than ever so I would pick the modern one.
- i like blue barred cage and barbed wire cage.
- The Blue Barred Cage
- Fatal Four Way With Weapans
- I like the good ol' Modern STEEL CAGE!
- The blue barred is classic. But its way to easy to climb out of. The new cage is better beacause you can do more stuff with that cage.
- I've always hated the traditional blue barred cage, even before there was an option in the matter. It looks like a jungle gym. The WWE hasn't used it in years, and hopefully they never do. While I see the benefits it has (easier to climb, easier to shoot through with a camera) it simply doesn't strike me as being intimidating I like the more modern mesh design, because the mesh adds a new dimension to the brutality. Not only are you stuck in a cage with no way out against someone whom usually has a grudge to settle, but the cage is now a weapon. Other things they need to change about the cage gimmick: Ditch the door! I've always hated when people crawled out the door. It sometimes works with heels, but it's been overdone. I've seen more door escapes than over-the-top ones in recent years, and it bugs me. The whole danger of a cage match is gone if the dang thing has a door, especially now that ref's hold it open for people. How lame? Ditch the pinfall/submission stipulation. It's a CAGE match, it should be escape only. As a matter of fact, there shouldn't even be a ref in the ring to make these decisions. Put them on the outside where they can see who falls first. It makes more sense.
- Not exactly the blue barred cage, but the cage Austin fought McMahon in at the Valentine's Day Massacre 1999
- I prefer Hoagie In A cell cages, but that won't happen. So I say the old school blue bars. They're more solid and can inflict more damage I would think.
