What is a good cage that will fit 1 ferret?

Hi, I'm planning on buying a ferret (for the first time) and I need to get a cage for it, so what would be a good cage that lasts good for one ferret? I don't want to pay too much over $100 but I want a good cage. Any suggestions?

1. OHHHHHH ferrets smell really really bad incase you didn't know already. But other than that, make it about 1-2 feet high, and about 4 feet long, make it so that you can put a shelter, and a ball in there, so that the ferret has something to do, since you won't get 2 of them.
2. I would suggest a Marshalls Mansion or Ferret Nation. These cages are about $150-$230. The cheaper the cage you get, you will be sorry. Ferrets need lots of space to climb and for their hammocks. Also, if you decide to get another in the future, you would have to go out and get another. A good cage costs at least $100. Do you have any local rescues? Often they sell really nice cages for cheap. Get one thats at least 47" W x 20" D x 38" H Also, Do not listen to that person above, they don't know what they are talking about. If you feed your ferret proper food such as: 8 in 1 Ultimate, California Natural Cat (the only cat food thats healthy for ferrets), Natural Gold or Path Valley Farm. Do not feed marhsall farms or totally ferret, it makes them stink about 10X's worse. All animals have an odor. Just don't bathe your ferret more then twice a year because he will smell worse. You wash away the natural oils when you bathe and then more has to be produced. Good luck
3. My son has a ferret and he doesn't smell anymore than any other animal does. You need a ferret cage.My son got his at pet smart along with his hammock,water bottle,feeding dish etc. What he loves best to sleep in is the arm off an old sweater or his hammock of course. They are lovely little animals.His name is Gus and he and my sons cat(Tucker) are the best of friends.Tucker knows when to get out of the way after Gus has had enough.We spend hours laughing,watching them play.
