can you use a dog cage as a?

i have a good size dog cage for my dalmation but she doesnt use it so i was wondering if i could use that for a bunny instead of buying a $150 cage... ok well.. thx

1. yes you can a lot more room just sanitize it well
2. Sure you can:) Not only will you save $$ from not having to buy a new bunny cage, you also will now have a use for the cage your dog won't use. I say that's a win, win situation:)
3. Ooooh, yeah - and your bun will probably love it. Extra bonus that it's dog-proof ... buns are prey animals and need to be kept safe! I would even rig up a shelf for bun ... maybe a 12 inch wide piece of wood the width of the crate. Put hooks or nails sticking out the side and set it onto the crosswires about 10 -14 inches off the floor. Then put the litter box with lots of hay on the bottom/ floor with his/her food and water crocks ... bunny heaven! Have fun!
